Dr. Jimmie Simpson

Jimmie has served at West View since December 2011. He was Interim Pastor from Dec 2011 to August 2013 when he followed God's call to serve permanently as Senior Pastor. Jimmie and his wife Andrea have been married since January 2001 and have 2 children, Bailey and David. The family loves serving the congregation at West View. He is a retired Navy, and Army veteran having served 10 years in the Navy Submarine Force, 8 years in the TN Army National Guard and 2 years in the Army during a deployment to Iraq in 2004-2005. He continues his military service even now as the Regimental Chaplain for the 2nd Regiment of the TN State Guard stationed in Lebanon, TN.

Jimmie has earned a Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling , a Master of Arts degree in Church Ministries and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counselling, all from Liberty University. His Doctoral Project addressed training the Church to conduct intentional missions’ outreach to geographic areas with high rates of substance abuse and addiction.
